Wildlife photo of the day: Red Lechwe: Red lechwe are well adapted to a semi-aquatic life, they prefer to graze on the periphery of a floodplain or water body. Considered a slow and clumsy runner on land, lechwe often evade predation by scattering and escaping to water. They use powerful hindlegs and specialized hooves to leap and propel them quickly across bodies of water, avoiding sinking in muddy bottoms Taken on July 5th 2014 at the Banoka Bush Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana
